National Bank has experienced a major outage on Tuesday with its automatic teller machines (ATMs) and online services.
The problem comes from a computer failure at IBM following a power outage that occurred on the night of Monday to Tuesday. Is it due to the solar storm? no idea yet.
Laurentian Bank would also have had some problems like the newspaper business, but service was restored completely.
At the National, the gradual return has led to overload the network and all clients could not use all Internet services. At the moment, everything should be back to normal.
